We recently found our marketing work for Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha resulted in a Boys & Girls Club of America MAC Advertising – Gold Award. Dooley Team members Jen and John accepted the award in Orlando at the national awards. Below is Jen’s account of her experience there:
“I’m still beaming from attending the MAC Award luncheon at the Boys & Girls Club National Conference in Orlando last week. Not only was it a pleasure just being there to accept the Gold MAC award in advertising on behalf of our work for Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha, but the luncheon message resonated with me deeply.
What I learned was that in the past decade Boys & Girls Club of America has gone from being one of the nation’s “best kept secrets”, to ranking among the top ten most recognized non-profit brands in the nation, and doubling the amount of youth served. AND, the movement is not slowing down anytime soon.
As a marketing professional one can only dream of being part of such a nationwide impact and seeing the fruits of your labor in your backyard. When our relationship with Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha began two and a half years ago the Club served 5,000 members. Today they serve 8,000 youth in Kenosha. Like their national parent organization, Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha’s impact keeps growing, creating a better future for Kenosha.
The unofficial mission statement for Dooley & Associates has always been to leave the communities we serve in better shape than we found them. This award is a true reflection of our team’s effort to make this mission come true.
Thank you to all of our family, friends, and clients for your continued support in helping reinforce our mission and helping our legacy come true.”
